Remember when you were in elementary school and the art teacher brought out a pack of construction paper or a new set of poster paints in an assortment of colors? Such excitement! Such endless possibilities!

You can have that feeling of potential and creative anticipation again…and spiff up the entry to your home at the same time! All it takes is a group of colorful pots and some flowering annuals or colorful foliage plants.

Quick tips:
1. Choose three or more containers of different sizes and styles, but in the same color.
2. Fill them with potting soil.
3. Pick plants of various sizes, shapes, textures and flower colors to fill these pots. Have fun with it but pay attention to matching your plant
choices to the amount of light that the area receives. When in doubt, ask for our help.
4. At any point in the season you can move the pots around, take a plant away or add others into the mix. Let the creative kid in you come out!
