As temperatures drop in late summer and early fall, cool-season grasses peak in growth. Warm days and cool nights make fall the perfect time for establishing new grass and strengthening existing lawns.   • Best for lawns receiving 4-8 hours of sunlight per day (lawns need a minimum of 4 hours of sun per day)
  • Drought tolerant, self repairing, disease and insect resistant
  • Germinates in 10-21 days
  • Water 2-3 times per day until it is 2-3″ tall, then reduce frequency

Bonide Sun & Shade Grass Seed

If your lawn receives both sun and shade you might consider Bonide Sun and Shade Grass Seed, available in 3 lb., 7 lb., and 20 lb. bags.

  • Best for lawns receiving 6+ hours of sunlight per day
  • Provides a thick, healthy lawn
  • Germinates in 10-21 days
  • Water 2-3 times per day until it is 2-3″ tall, then reduce frequency

  • Gives lawns the best start from either seed or sod
  • Encourages thick, vigorous turf
