Christmas At Country Garden

Christmas At Country Garden

Twas the weeks before Christmas and all through the store,
the Green Team is helping Cape Cod’s holidays to soar.

Kids shout with excitement as they pick out their tree;
Our guys cut, wrap, and tie it…once the parents agree.

In front of the building the greenhouse is spread
With full, lush Poinsettias in white, pink and red.

As the bow-makers create and the ornaments gleam,
on opulent trees each designed ‘round a theme.

The patio is filled with wreaths, urns and lights,
to decorate porches, and brighten dark nights.

Suddenly out in the parking lot there arose such clatter
that all Hyannis poured out to see what was the matter.

“You must help me,” she cried, “for you’ll never guess,
the guest I’m expecting. I’m under such stress!”

“I need garlands, a tree, and plenty of greens.
Kissing balls and flowers fit for princes and queens.”

The staff rushed to help and soon had such treasures
that the customer relaxed and could savor her pleasures.

Her car couldn’t hold it but she was in luck,
because Country Garden delivers and has a large truck.

As the customer left she was no longer stressed,
so we asked her to reveal the name of her guest.

“Thanks to your Green Team so clever and quick,
I’ll be decked out in style when entertaining Saint Nick.”

Merry Christmas to All

I also Love to walk through your greenhouse and Christmas areas if I am feeling blue. I always find some thing to buy and surprise a friend. I bring my little dog who thinks she owns the place and loves to sniff and greet friends. I am glad I live near you so I can shop often.
I get 5 yards of soil every spring and spread it around and usually I don’t finish the pile until the next year. Well this year I spread it all and am ready for another pile. My grandkids are 8yr now and still play on the pile of soil and get very dirty and happy. When they were younger they stayed on the pile the whole day and really needed to be scrubbed up in the out door shower. so you serve many purposes for my family.
    Merry Christmas,
    Althea and family

So nice to hear this, Althea! And you can take pride that in letting your grandkids play in the dirt you are helping them to be healthier! Research shows that many of the good bacteria in soil contribute to a person’s life-long good health.
