Meet Lobularia Frosty Knight

Meet Lobularia Frosty Knight

It’s my great pleasure to introduce you, (your name here) to one of the best annuals I know, Lobularia Frosty Knight. Since I’m sure you’ll soon be fast friends, you can call him Frosty Knight alyssum. Here’s why I know that you’ll soon be new best friends:

1. You want annuals that will grow, bloom and mix well with all your other plants all summer, and Frosty Knight, an annual from Proven Winners, is happy to oblige.

2. Frosty Knight wants at least 5 hours of direct sun, and you have that to share.

3. You need plants for your window boxes, pots and gardens that bring both flowers and foliage interest. Frosty Knight has white flowers and green and pale yellow variegated foliage. Everyone gets two-for-one!

4. All of those near and dear to you want your garden to be less work so that you are relaxed and have more time for them. Frosty Knight only wants to please all the people of the manor, which is why this plant was given “knighthood” in the first place: it only wants to serve.

Seriously…this is annual is a workhorse that is easy and makes you look good. It’s the perfect plant for all containers and gardens as well.

This photo shows how good Frosty Knight is at cooling down even the hottest colors in a mixed annual and perennial garden. C.L. Fornari planted it with Scaevola, marigolds and assorted perennials in this fragrance garden, and it was the perfect flower and foliage contrast plant from June through October!
